About the Peak Demand Calculator

This calculator analyzes peak demand and develops load shedding strategies for industrial and commercial systems, compliant with IEEE 1159 and ASHRAE 90.1 standards. It supports dynamic equipment schedules and optional time-of-use (TOU) rates.

Formulas used: D = P * DC / 100 for equipment demand, D_peak = max(sum(D_i)) for peak demand, E = sum(D * H) for energy, C_demand = D_peak * R_demand for demand cost, and S = (D_peak_before - D_peak_after) * R_demand for savings. The chart visualizes the demand profile, and results can be exported as a PDF for documentation.
